Job Descriptions : 2006-2007All positions are paid a stipend of about $150 per month Co-Chair/Communications DirectorKeeps up the website, manages the listserv, and the e-mail (this is done along with the Co-Chairs), as well as the message phone. Everything with how we communicate with others and how others can get in touch with us/learn about us is this person’s job. Web design skills and understanding of listserv etc. are a definite plus for this one. Approx. 10-15 hours per week. Co-Chair/Events CoordinatorPlans, organizes, and holds (with help from members and Co-Chairs) all the service projects, social events, conferences and the annual trip. Works with general members, sub-committee Co-Chairs, SALP and other campus and community resources to make sure everything we plan for the year gets done. Approx. 10-15 hours per week. Co-Chair/TreasurerPlans budget for the following year. Attends budget school (absolutely mandatory) and budget hearings. Keeps budget current, can work with the Event Coordinator on fund-raising if desired, keep Co-Chairs up to date on funds spent and available. Approx. 10-15 hours per week. Co-Chair/Faculty LiaisonServes as the main contact between CDSG and Community Development faculty. This includes enlisting faculty support and gathering resources for ongoing projects, as well as collecting ideas and input for new and potential projects. Attends all Undergraduate Executive Committee meetings. Organizes student and alumni mentor programs for new and prospective CD students. ../documents |
