The PSU Community Development Student Group will host the Portland Development Commission on Monday, February 27th at 6:45 - 8:45pm. Food and beverages will be served. We are being asked for our input to help shape PDC’s priorites.
As part of the City’s 2006-07 budget process, the Portland Development Commission (PDC) is asking PSU students and faculty to help provide Valuable input into PDC’s budget priorities and the Proposed Budget.
PDC commissioners and/or staff will come to the gathering to provide an overview on the current budget process, draft budgets for each of the City’s eleven Urban Renewal Areas, and priority survey forms that guests will be asked to complete. Following the events, PDC staff will compile these forms and share results with PDC’s citizen Board of Commissioners and Directors. This input will be considered, along with input from City Commissioners, PDC Commissioners and PDC’s six urban renewal citizen advisory committees in the prioritization of projects and programs for housing, jobs, parks, transportation and redevelopment.
